Michelle offers private harp lessons online via zoom and in her home studio just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia in Langley.
While having music background is always helpful, Michelle’s specially designed beginning harp curriculum teaches the basics of note reading, music theory, and harp technique, so anyone can play the harp. Michelle teaches both the pedal (orchestral) harp and lever (folk/Celtic) harp and offers several lever harps to students to rent before they are ready to buy their own. Michelle offers performance opportunities to all her students, from beginning to advanced, in solo and ensemble settings. Michelle’s innovative teaching techniques and creative approaches help students overcome difficulties and realize yes, you can play the harp! Finding ways to educate that are engaging and fun is my number one goal. If you are looking to learn a new instrument, develop pre-existing skills, or engage a large group of students I offer a wide range of services suited to many different needs. I offer both harp and piano lessons to students of all levels.
