FAQ's
How much is the deposit?
A $150.00 non refundable deposit is required for all events booked more than 30 days in advance. Full payment will be required with the contract for weddings booked less than 30 days in advance.
When is the balance due?
The balance for weddings is due no less than 1 week prior to your event. Some last-minute, corporate, or funeral bookings may have different payment arrangements. Your contract will list the due date for your balance payment.
How long will you hold my date?
Your date is held for one week after you have requested a contract. If it is not signed by the "Deposit Due Date" specified on your contract, your hold on the date will be released, and it will be made available for other bookings. Your date is NOT held by submitting a quote/availability request.
How far in advance can I book you?
Bookings can be made up to two years from today's date, but I am also available for last- minute events. Most weddings book my services 6-8 months in advance. Booking early ensures my availability for your event, and also locks in current pricing.
What if you have to cancel?
I never cancel without extreme circumstances. If I have advance notice, such as a death in the family, I will do everything I can to arrange for a substitute harpist or other musician. If I am prevented from being at your event due to accident or emergency on the way, all payments will be refunded. Rest assured that this has never happened in all of the years I have been playing for weddings!
